SURAH FATIHA TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH

                           SURAH AL-FATIHA صوره الفاتح 

                     BISMILLAHIR REHMANIR RAHIM

1-Al-Hamdu lillaahi Rabbil-Aalamin;

(All praises to ALLAH, Sustainer (Creator) of the entire universe.

2-Ar-Rehmaanir- Rahim;

(The most Affectionate, the most merciful)

3-Maaliki Yawmid-Din.

(The supreme Owner of the Day of Judgement)

4-I y y a a k a n a - b u d u w a iyyaaka nasta-iin.

(We only worship you and we only seek your help)

5-Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mu s t a qiim

(Guide us to the straight path;)

6-Siraatal-lazina-an-amta alayhim.

(The path of those whom you blessed)

7-Gayril-magzubi alay-him wa laz-zaalliin.

(not of those who are under (ALLAH'S) Wrath and are astray.

SURAH BAQARAH

                              SURAH BAQARAH  صوره بقره               

                BISMILLAHIR REHMANIR RAHIIM
(Section-1)

1- ALIF-LAAAM-MEEEM

2-Zaalikal-Kitaabu laa raybafiih.Hudal-lil-muttaqiin;
(That (Heavenly) Book (The Holy Quran) is without any doubt, It guides the pious)

3-'Allaziina yu-minuuna bilgaybi wa yuqiimuunas- Salata wa mimmma razanaahum yunfiquun;
(who believe in the unseen and who establish salaat and spend from what we(Almighty ALLAH) bestowed to them)

4-Wallaziina yu minuuna bimaaa unzila ilayka wa maaa unzila min qablik, wa bil-Aakhirati hum yuuqinuun.
(and who believe in what has been revealed to you (Beloved Rasool Muhammad S.A.W) and what was revealed before you and are sure about the hereafter.)

5-Ulaaaika alaa Hudammir Rabbihim wa ulaaa ika humul-Muf-Lihuun.
(only they are guided by their RABB (Sustainer) and only they are to attain success).

6-Innal-Laziina k a f a r u u sawaaa-un alay-him a-an zartahum am lam tunzirhum laa yu-minuun.
(Surely those who are disbelievers, it is alike to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe.

7-khatamallaahu alla quluubihim wa alaa sam-ihim, wa alaaa absaaarihim, gishaawah; wa lahum azaabun aziim.
(Allah leaves their hearts and ears sealed and on their eyes is a cover of darkness and for them there will be lawful punishment.)

SURAH BAQARAH-1 (SECTION 2) RUKU 2

SECTION 2:-

8- Wa minan-nassi many-ya-quulu aamannaa billaahi wa bil-Yawmil-Aa-khiri wa maa hum-bi-mu-miniin.
(And of mankind are some who say '' we believe in ALLAH and the last day'' yet they are not believers.)

9-Yukhaadi-uunallaaha wal-aziina aamanuu wa maa yakhda-uuna illaaa anfusa-hum wa maa yash-uruun.
(They try to deceive ALLAH  and the believers. In fact they deceive none except themselves but do not have its perception.)

10-Fii quluubihim-marazun fazaada-humullaahu marazaa Wa lahum azaabun aliimum-bimaa kaanuu yakzibuun.
(In their heart is a sickness to increase. And for them is a painful punishment because they falsify.)

11-Wa izza qiila lahum laa-tuf-siduu fil-arzi qaaluuu in-namaa nahnu muslihuun.
(And when it is said to them''do not indulge in disorder on the earth'', they say ''we do so only as reformers'')

12-Alaaa innahum humul-muf-siduuna wa l a a k i l-l a a yash-uruun.
(Please beware that it is they who indulge in disorder but they do not perceive it.)

13- Wa izza qiila lahum aa-minuu kamaa aamanan-naasu qaaluuu a-nu-minu kamaaa aa-manas-sufahaaa. Alaaa innahum humus-sufahaaa-uwa laakil-laa ya-lamuun.
(And when they are told to believe as mankind believes, they say, ''shall we believe as the fools believe''.Please beware! surely, they are the foolish but do not know it.)

14-Wa izaa laqul-laziina aa-manuu qaaluuu aamannaa, wa-izaa khalaw ilaa shayaatiini-him qaaluuu innaa ma-akum innamaa nahnu mus-tahzi-uun.
(And when they come in contact with believers they say,''we also believe ''. But when they are alone with their satans(devils), they say'' we surely, are with you. We surely, are only joking.)

15-Allaahu yas tahzi-u bi-him wa yamuddu-hum fii tug yaanihim ya-mahuun.
(Allah return back their jokes and keeps their rebellion to increase by wandering blindly.)

16-Ulaaa-ikallazii-nashtrara-wuz-zalaalata bilhudaa:famaa rabihat-tijaaratuhum wa maa kaanu muhtadiin.
(Such are the people who barter deviance instead of guidance. So their bargain earns them no profit and they are not on guidance.)

17-Masaluhum kamasa-lillazis-tawaqada naaraa; falammaaa azaaa-at maa h a w l a h u u zahaballaahu bi-nuurihim wa tarakahum fii zulumaatil-laa yubsiruun.
(Their example is like a person who kindles a fire and when it lights-up all around, ALLAH keeps away their light and leaves them in thick darkness that they see nothing.)

18-Summum-bukmun umyun fahum laa yarji-uun,
(As deaf, dumb and blind, they cannot return;

19-A w kasayyi-bim-minas-samaaa-i fiihi zulumaatunw- wa ra-dunwa-wa barq; yaj-aluuna asaabi-ahum fiii aa-zaani-him minas-sawaa-iqi ha-z a r a l-m a w t. W a l l a a h.Muhiitum-bil-kaafiriin.
(as it is like rain loaded clouds from the sky accompanied by windstorm and thunder and lightening.they put their fingers in their ears due to this thunder for fear of death. Thus Allah encircles up the disbelievers.)

20-Yakaadul-barqu yakhtafu absaarahum: k u l l a m a a a azaaa-a lahum-mashaw fiihi wa izaaa azlama alayhim qaamuu. Wa law shaaa-al-laahu lazahaba bisam-ihim wa absaarihim; innallaaha alaa kulli shay-in-Qadir.
(It is near that lightening may snatch away their sights.Whenever there is flashing they walk in it but when it is dark they stand still.And had Allah* willed he would have taken away their listening and sights.Surely ALLAH has the power to do everything.)

SURAH BAQARAH-1 (SECTION 3) RUKU 3

SECTION 3:-

21-Yaaa-ayyu-han-naasu bu-duu Rabba-kumullazii khalaqa-kum wallaziina min-qablikum la-allakum tattaquun.
(O Mankind! worship your Rabb(Sustainer)Who created you and those before you, so that you may become pious.)

22-Allazi ja-ala lakumul-arza fi r a a-s h a n w-w a s-samaaa-a binaaa-aa wa an-zala minas-samaaa-i maaa-an-fa-akh-raja bihii minas-sama-raati rizqal-lakum; falaa taj-aluu lil-laahi andaadanw-wa antum ta-lamuun.
(Who made the earth as resting place for you and made the sky a canopy and causes rain from the sky and produces from it fruits as your food? Therefore, do not equate anyone with Allah, while you know.)

23-Wa in-kuntum fii ray-bim-m i m m a a nazzal-naa alaa Abdinna  fa-tuu bi-Suuratim-min-mis-lih; wad-uu shuha-daaa-akum-min-duunillaahi in-kuntum saadi-qiin.
(And if you are in some doubt regarding what we (ALLAH) have revealed on our (Allah's) devotee (MUHAMMAD) bring one chapter (Of the Quraan) like this and call upon all your witness (helpers), apart from Allah, if you are truthful.)

24-Fa-illam-taf-aluu wa lan-taf-aluu fattaqun-Naarallatii waquudu-han-naasu wal-hijjaa-ratu u-iddat lil Kaafiriin.
(But if you do not do so, and surely you cannot, then get protection against the fire, for which men and stones will be the fuel, prepared for the disbelievers.)

25-Wa bashshi-rillaziina aa-mannu wa amilus-saali-haati anna lahum jannaatin-tajrii-min-tahtihal-anhaar. Kulla-maa ruziquu minhaa min-sama-ratir-ruzqn-qaalu haazallazii ruziqnaa min-qablu wa utuu b i h i i mutashaabihaa. Wa lahum fiihaaa azwaajum-mu-tah-harah; w a h u m fiihaa khaaliduun.
(And convey good news to those who believe and do the right deeds, that for them there are Paradises under which flow. When they will be provided there fruit to eat, they will say,''it is the same which we were fed before.'' And they will be bestowed resembing things. And for them there will be pure companions and they will reside there forever.)

26-Innallaaha laa yastah-yiii any-yazriba masalam-maa-ba-uuzatan-famaa fawqahaa.Fa-ammallaziina aamanuu fa-ya-lamuuna annahul-Haqqu-mir-Rabbihim; wa ammal-laziina kafaruu fayaquuluuna maa zaaa aradaallaahu bihaa-zaa maslaa? Yuzillu bihii kasiiranw-wa maa ya h d i i bihii kasiiranw-wa maa yu-zillu bi-hiii illal-Fassi-qiin:
(Surely,ALLAH is not shy to describe anything as illustration, be it a mosquito or smaller than that.Those who believe know that it is a truth from their Rabb(Sustainer). But the disbelievers say''what does Allah mean by such illustration''?Many are mislead by it and many are guided by it.and none is misguided except the wrong doers.)

27-Allaziina yanqu-zuuna Ah-dallaahi mim-ba-di mii-saaqihii, wa yaqta-uuna maaa amarallaahu bihii any-yuu-sala wa yufsiduuna fil-arz ulaaa-ika h-khaa-siruun.
(Those who break the promise with ALLAH after establishing it and cut off what ALLAH commands to join and spread disorder in the earth.Only they are the losers.)

28-Kayafa takfuruuna bilaahi wa kuntum am-waatah-fa-ah-yaakum; summa yumiitukum summa yuhyiikum summa ilay- hi turja-uun.
(How could you disbelieve in Allah that when you were lifeless, he gave you life, then will cause you to die, then again will bring you to life, again to him you will have to return.)

29-Huwal-lazii khalaqa lakum-maa fil-arzi jamii-aa, sum-mas-tawaaa ilas-samaaa-i fa-sawwaa-hunna sab-a samaa-waat; wa huwa bi-kulli shay-in aliim.
(It is he who created for you all that is in the earth.Then his design comprehended the sky exact into seven heavens.He has the perfect knowledge of everything.)

SURAH BAQRAH-1 (SECTION 4) RUKU 4

SECTION 4:-

30- Wa iz qaala Rabbuka lil-Malaaa-ikati ''Innii jaa-ilun-fil arzi KHALIFAH''.Qaaluuu ataj-alu fiihaa many-yufsidu fiiha wa yasfi-kud-dimaaa? wa nahnu nusabbihu bi-Ham-dika wa nu-qaddusu lak.Qaala ''Innii a-lamu maa laa ta-lamuun.''
(And (please recall O beloved Muhammad) when your Rabb(Sustainer) said to the angels, '' I am to place my Khalifah(Viceregent) in the earth''. They said, ''will you appoint such one (Viceregent) who will spread disorder and shed blood into it ''but we glorify your praise and sanctity you''. He replied, '' I know what you do not know''.)

31- Wa allama Aadamal-as maaa-a k u l l h a a summa arazahum alal-malaaa-ikati f a q a a l a ambi-uunnii bi-as maaa-i haaa-u-laa-i in-kun-tum saadiqiin.
(And he (Allah) taught Aadam the names (of objects), then  presented the same objects to angels saying,'' tell the names of these to me, if you are truthful.'')

32- Qaaluu ''S u b h a a n a k a laa ilma lanaa illaa maa allamtanna Innaka antal-Aliimul-Hakiim.''
(They replied,''You are the holiest. We have no knowledge no knowledge except what you have taught us. Surely, you are the Knowing, the wise.''

33-Q a a l a ''Yaaa 'Aadamu ambi-hum-bi-asmaaa-ihim.'' Falammaaa amba-ahum-bi-asmaaa-ihim q a a l a alam aqul-lakum Inniii a-lamu gay-bas-samaawaati wal-arzi wa a-lamu maa tubduuna wa maa kuntum taktu-muun.
(He (ALLAH) said, ''O Aadam tell them(all) the names of the objects. When he (Aadam) told them the names, He(Allah) said, ''did not i say that, have the knowledge of everything hidden in the heaven and the earth and i know what you reveal and what you conceal.'')

34-Wa iz qulnaa lil-malaaa-ikatis-juduuu illaaa ibliis abaa-was-takbara wa kaana minal-kaafiriin. (And (recall) when we (ALLAH) ordered the  to prostrate (forehead on earth) before Aadam, all of them prostrate except iblees.He refused and became too proud and turned out disbeliever.)

35-Wa qulnaa yaaa-Aada-mus-kun anta wa zaw-jukal-jannata wa kulaa minhaa raga-dan hay-su shi-tumma; wa laa taqrabaa haazihish-shajarata fata-kuuna minaz-zaalimiin.
(And we (ALLAH) said'' O Aadam you and your wife may reside in this Paradise and eat of it anything plentifully, as you like, but both of you should not'' approach this tree (shajarah-the lineage of mankind) lest you will be among the cruels.'')

36-Fa-azalla-humash-Shay-taanu a n h a a fa-akh-raja- humaa mimmaa kaanaa fiih. Wa qulnah-bituu ba-zukum li-ba-zin aduww.Wa lakuum fil-arzi musta-qarrunw-wa mataa un ilaa hiin.(The satan (Devil) tempted both to slip by means of it (from paradise) and turned them out of the abode, where they lived.And we (ALLAH) ordered them to get down as enemies of each other.And for you is a stay on the earth for a time as means of livelihood.)

37-Fata-laqqaaa A a d a m u mir-Rabbihii Kalimaa-tin-fa-taaba alayh; innahuu Huwat-Tawwaa-bur-Rahiim.
(Then Aadam learnt some words(of repentance) from his Rabb (Sustainer) and he (ALLAH) accepted his repentance .Surely, he is the most Reenting, the most merciful.)

38- Qulnah-bituu minhaa ja-mii-aa; fa-immaa ya-ti-yan-nakum-minnii Hudan-faman tabi-a Hudaa-ya falaa khaw-fun alayhim wa laa hum yah-zanuun.
(We (ALLAH) said'' all of you get down from here (Paradise).Then if you receive guidance from me, whoso will follow my guidance neither they will have any fear nor they will have any grief.

39-Wallaziina kafaruu wa k a z z a b u u bi-Aayaatinaaa ulaaa-ika As-haabun-Naar; hum fiihaa khaaliduun.
(And those who will disbelieve and falsify our (ALLAH'S) verses they will be the inmates of fire where they will remain forever.)

SURAH BAQRAH-1 (SECTION 5) RUKU 5

SECTION 5:-

40- Ya-Banii-Israaa-iilaz-k u r u u ni-matiyallatiii an-amtu alaykum wa 'awfuu-bi-Ahdii uufibi-Ahdikum wa-iyyaa-ya farhabuun.
(O children of Israael (jacob) ''remember my blessings which i bestowed upon you and fulfill your promise with me, I shall fulfill my promise with you and you fear only from me.'')

41- Wa aaminuu bimaaa an-zaltu musaddiqal-limaa ma-a-kum wa laa takuunuuu aw wala kaafirim-bih.Wa laa tash-taruu bi-Aayaatii  s a m a n a n qaliilaa; wa iyyaaaya fattaquun.
(''And believe in what i have revealed which confirms what is already with you and do not be its first disbelievers. And never bargain my verses for small price and be pious only with me.'')

42- Wa laa talbissul-Haqqa bil-baatili wa taktumul-Haqqa wa antum ta-lamuun.
(''And do not mixup truth with falsehood and do not conceal the reality.'')

43- Wa laa aqiimus Salaata wa aatuz-Zakaata warka-uu ma-ar-raaki-iin.
(''And establish salat (Muslim prayer) and pay the Zakaat (compulsory dues for the have nots) and bow down with those who bow.'')

44- Ata-muruunan-naasa bil-birri wa tansawna anfusakum wa antum tatluunal-Kitaab? Afalaa ta-qiluun?
(Do you advise mankind for virtue and forget your own selves, though you recite the book? Have you no sense?)

45- Wasta-iinuu bis-Sabri was-Salaah wa innahaa lakbii-rataun illa alal-Khaashi-iin,
(And seek help from patience and Salaat(Muslim prayer). And surely, it ( prayer) is indeed hard except for the humble ones in  spirit.)

46- Allaziina yazun-nuuna annahum-mulaaquu Rabbihim wa annahum ilayhi raaji-uun.
(who are certain that they will surely, meet their Rubb (Sustainer) and to him they are to return,'')

SURAH BAQRAH-1 (SECTION-6) RUKU 6

SECTION 6:-

47- Yaa-Baniii-Israaa-iilaz-kuruu ni-mati-yal-latiii an-amtu alaykum wa annii faz-zaltukum alal-aalamiin.
(''O children of Israael (Jacob) remember my blessings which I bestowed upon you and gave you preference over the entire universe.'')

48- Wattaquu Yawmal-l a a tajzii nafsun an-nafsin-shay-anw-wa laa yuqbalu minhaa shafaa-atunw-wa laa yu-khazu-minhaa ad-lunw-wa laa hum yun-sarun.
(And be pious for the day when no person will be the substitute for another person. Neither a recommendation will help (disbeliever) nor any compensation shall replace justice and they shall not be helped.)

49- Wa iz najjay-naakum-min Aali-fir-awna yasuumuuna-kumsuuu-al-azaabi-yuzab-bihuuna abnaaa-akum w a yas-tahyuuna nisaaa-akum wa fii zaalikum balaaa-um mir-Rabbikum aziim.
(And (recall) when we (ALLAH) got you rid from Fir'awn's (Pharaoh's) people who tortured you in punishment of slaughtering your sons and keeping your sons and keeping your daughters alive. And in this there was a great trial from your Rabb(Sustainer).

50- Wa iz faraqnaa bikumul-bahra fa-anjay-naakum w a agraq-naa Aala-fir-awna wa antum tanzuruun.
(And (recall) when we (ALLAH) divided the sea for you (Moses) and saved you and drowned Fir'awn's (Pharaoh's) people while you were looking it.)

51- Wa iz waa adnaa Muusaaa arba-iina lay-latan-summa-takhaztu-mul-ijla mim-ba-di-hii wa antum zaalimuun.
(And when we (ALLAH) kept Moosa (Moses) in a promise of forty nights, you (Israaeiites) adopted (to worship) calf, in his absence, and you were the cruels.)

52- Summa afawnaa ankum-mim-ba-di zaalika la-allakum tash-kuruun.
(Even then we (ALLAH) Pardoned you, so that you may be grateful.)

53- Wa iz aataynaa Muusaal-kitaaba wal-Furquaana la-al-lakum tahtaduun.
(And when  we (ALLAH) Bestowed Book on Moosaa (Moses) and method of distinction (between right and wrong)so that you may be rightly guided.)

54-Wa iz qaala Mussaa li-Qawmihii yaa-qawmi innakum z a l a m t u m anfusakum bit-tikhaazikumul-ijlla fatuubuuu ilaa baari-ikum faqtuluu anfusakum; zaalikum khay-rul-lakum inda Baari-ikum Fataaba alaykum innahu Huwat-Tawwa-bur-Rahim.
(And when  Moosa (Moses) said to his nation '' O my nation you have commited cruelty to yourselves by adopting (to worship) the calf. Therefore, repent to your creator, and kill each one. That will be better for you before your creator.Then he accepted your repentance. Surely he is the most Relenting, the most merciful.)

55-Wa iz qultum yaa Muusaa-lan-nu-mina laka hattaa naral-l a a h a jahratan-fa-akhazat-kumus-saa-iqatu wa antum tanzuruun.
(And when you said , ''O Moosaa (Moses) we shall not believe you till we see ALLAH face to face.Then the thundering encircled you while you were looking.

56- S u m m a ba-asnaakum min-ba di mawtikum la-al-lakum tash-kuruun.
(Then we (ALLLAH) rised you up alive after your death that you may be grateful.)

57-Wa zallalnaa alaykumul-gamaama wa anzalnaa alay kumul-Manna was Salwaa; Kuluu min tayyi-baati maa razaqnaa-kum-wa maa zala-muunaa wa laakin-kaanuuu anfusahum yazlimuun.
(And we (ALLAH) Bestowed you with the shades of the cloud and sent upon you ''munna'' and ''sulva''(delicious fast food of paradise).Eat out of the best provisions We (ALLAH) bestowed you.(But they rebelled). They did not do any cruelty to us (ALLAH) but they were cruel to themselves.)

58-Wa iz qulnad-k h u l u u h a a z i h i l- q a r y a t a fakuluu minhaa haysu shi-tum ragadanw-wad-khulul b a a b a sujjadanw-wa quuluu hitatun nagfir lakum khataa-yaakum wa sanaziidul-Muh-siniin.
(And when we (ALLAH) said, ''enter this town, then eat therefrom plentiful what you like and enter the (city) gates prostrating and submit for forgiveness''. We (ALLAH) shall forgive you your faults , and shal enhance the reward of those who are kind.
